Oct.4 Omotesenke Tea Ceremony at Shofuso

We enjoyed so much to present Thin tea to Shofuso visitors.
Weather was perfect, and the garden was beautiful as always.
After serving tea, we had nice conversation about tea ceremony with guests.
Mr. Glenn Swann, Tea instructor and Shakuhachi master, played Shakuhachi(bamboo flute).
Perfect balance between Japanese music and Japanese setting (building, garden, people in kimono)

Tea Room Tatami Change (茶室畳替え)

After so many years, I decided to change my tea room tatami.
Mr. Hiroshi Motoyama from Murasakino, Kyoto, had the commitment in Boston, and
he was so kind to come over to Princeton and change my tatami.
We all love the fresh aroma of TATAMI.
